LESSONS LEARNED DURING GRAND PRIX ZAGREB 2015

Show your values and life lessons that can be spread
After the analysis we decided to build the story on Judo tradition, lifelong values and positive stories that were all over the place. We designed infographics, motivational visuals and quotes so judokas can share them and show their world.

Look beyond the sports barriers

There is an amazing 12-year-old boy called Mateo, who adores Judo and managed to have a great childhood thanks to Judo. Before he started to train Judo he was far more aggressive, his concentration was quite low and his motoric skills were even lower. Now, he plays football, train gymnastics and owns a yellow Judo belt! Oh yes, he has a Down syndrome. The whole Overtime team was amazed with Mateo and his family so we helped to tell his story.

Help the people love you


Show your strengths! Judokas have great bodies. Croatian judokas are young, educated, loveable and “normal” people. We showed that. Judo has a long tradition and a big number of people involved. We organized workshops, veterans showcases and training with Croatian judokas for kids who could join for free.

Use big names – for example Olympics

We showed great atmosphere through the promo video in which Grand Prix participants, volunteers and visitors were asked to describe their experience in one word or a sentence.

Croatian Olympic Team athletes (Marijo Moznik – gymnastics, Sinkovic brothers – rowing and Filip Hrgovic – boxing) invited everybody to visit Grand Prix Zagreb 2015 and Judo Olympic Park.
We showed emotions and cheering through the video of stand yelling and cheering for one of the Croatian judokas.
