1. ATTRACTIVE GRAPHICS
When the players are on a mission called EURO, the least a club can do is to wish them good luck. Of course, it’s an ”old trick” to get attention, but Juventus just did it much better than the other clubs by creating really eye catching and attractive graphics. It was nice to see how they wished good luck to their players in their native languages.
Is the flag right this time, Sami Khedira? Good luck (again!) Germany Football Team – Die Mannschaft! 🇩🇪

2. FLASHBACKS
When you had a great season in which you made ‘hi5tory’, it’s an excellent idea to relive it and make your fans proud and happy all over again. Emotions are always desirable, especially when they are positive like these.
Absolute SCENES in Florence just two months ago….#HI5TORY

I also like the way they remembered J’s and Berni’s ”friendship” (two awesome mascots ”hanging out” is great move by itself). Usage of pop culture references is always welcome, especially when they are this funny.
J and Berni: still a better love story than Twilight 😉 #FlashBackFriday

One more thing that has to be mentioned are the Happy birthday posts for ex-players.

3. J’s TIME
Lot of football clubs have a mascot, but just some of them know how to take advantage of it. Juventus is one of them, and their zebra J is someone I always look forward to seeing on their official social media channels. Admit it, no matter how old you are, J’s adventures put a smile on your face.

4. EURO UPDATES
When your players are doing a good job on EURO, it is nice to show the world how proud of them you are and post about it. The thing I like about Juve’s updates is that it seems to me that they are written with excitement and heart, while lot of other clubs just have informative and ”plastic” updates. We all know that emotions are everything in sports, so it’s not hard to guess who does a better job here.

5. BRAIN TEASERS
I believe that brain teasers are something we all loved during our childhood. Nowadays, we don’t see that very often, so I was positively surprised when I saw something like this on my timeline. I’m sure that this combination of an old hobby, new technology and love for the club made a lot of fans feel good.

6. GIFT FOR THE FANS
One great thing about the Internet is that it gives clubs a chance to show how they love their fans in a very easy, fast and affordable way. Juventus used it in a great way by sharing specially designed posters with their hi5tory makers. Whether they finish as a backgrounds or printouts, they will remain a nice reminder on great memories and positive emotions for their club. Excellent ”deal” for both sides.

7. #SUMMERWITHJU
If you have fans worldwide, it’s OK to ”brag” about it. Juventus did a great job by inviting their fans to show how they are spending their summer in ”black and white”. All they had to do is take a photo and use the hashtag #SummerWithJu. Fan engagement is always a good thing to do, especially if it results in very impressive images. I also like how the polaroid photos touch was given to photos, so simple, yet very effective.

8. NEW PLAYERS = NEW FANS
Singing new and great players is always good, but it’s even better when you share it on your social networks in a very cool way. Miralem Pjanić and Dani Alves are really welcomed with style. I believe that this very friendy welcome will turn a lot of their fans into new Juve fans.

9. MOVIE TEASERS
The movie Black and white stripes, the Juventus story is something big that is ”cooking” in Juve’s kitchen. Although the movie has its own web, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, club’s official social media accounts are also well used for the promotion. Teasers with the biggest stars are probably the best possible way to make fans interested for the big thing that is coming.

CONCLUSION
We all remember the fable The Ant and the Grasshopper, right? Don’t be like that lazy grasshoper. With just a little effort you can achieve great results, and that will definitely pay off in the future.
Recipe for success is simple: one spoon of past + one spoon of present + one cup of emotions + one cup of fan engagement, all mixed up and spiced up with a dose of fun and humor = something that will bring you a very sweet future.
